What do you do when you don't get what you deserve? Are your expectations too high or are you just a fool to run after something that's never made for you. Why do you still want to hold on to something that's all gone? Why do you still want to gather the broken pieces and dream of building a palace out of them. Who can you blame for your failure - you yourself or your luck!
This little post is dedicated to one of my school friends.
When your luck betrays you and your hard work fails to support you, your morale is lost. It's a one time thing but tends to have a long lasting effect. It's in your hands how to get yourself out of that situation. No word feels convincing. Every moment attacks like a sword. Time will heal your pain and has a surprise in store for you; but who has the patience or hope to see light at the end of a long tunnel.
Life's test is the most important of all and the only weapon you have is your attitude, which can either take you heights or burn you down to ashes. And this test is always a surprise one; God has nothing against us but wants us to learn something, direct us to the right path in a harsh way. Sometimes we can't understand as it all seems irrational.
Always smile at your problems, make them feel embarrassed and they will soon be gone. Don't let them control your life.
It's all easier said than done and am a perfect example of this.

There are four things that you can't recover:
The Stone.... after shot
The Word.... after pronounced
The Occasion.... after lost
The Time.... after gone..

A match I can never forget.
Duration - three hours!
Pics are self explanatory. Not in a state to write anything..
Got a chance to see a few BTP presentations today. Realized a few things about this much hyped thing.
It's not just enough to be confident in front of the panel but you must also have full knowledge about your project. Though the presentation may last for not more than twenty minutes but that time is sufficient to evaluate a person on the basis of the total work one has put into the project. And hard work counts and hard work shows, this is one thing I have always known but it is today that I realized its importance.
Secondly, you can never fool a professor with your diplomatic answers. If you don't know something, accept it. Don't try to defend your answers with vague explanations. That could have a negative effect.
Your attire matters a lot, and the way you carry yourself while presenting is also very important. A single look will give an impression on how serious you are about the project. Therefore, a highly casual or a highly conscious attitude won't help.
Though being confident is not the only thing that counts but is one of the basic things required in your presentation. Don't allow the professor to dominate you with his inane questions, courtesy : SEN tutorial.
This is all I can learn in my endeavor to understand our most beloved panel.

Acting and me don't go hand in hand, but I can always give it a try. ;)
I was always interested in watching plays and stage shows of any kind; be it proscenium, dance, sangeet sandhya or anything. Was just thinking how would it be giving it a try and to see the other side of the hedge too. The interest developed in December when I had nothing to do but dream of things and crazy ideas. I also started watching saas-bahu serials alongwith mom and looked at them from an actor's angle. Its amazing, after watching a few episodes you can actually predict the next dialogue coming up. The best part is when the same dialogue is repeated three times, and the photographer uses a zooming effect. It's funny!
So I practiced a few monologues (that was a secret), and made a few videos also. My first performance was in front of my brother where I started randomly and was supposed to say the most common dialogues of Hindi serials "nahi yah nahi ho sakta. keh do yeh jhooth hain, yeh jhooth hain, yeh jhooth hain' . ouch! anyways, it was supposed to be serious one but my bro can't help laughing at it. :x
Next step, I joined DTG (DA-IICT Theatre Group). I was asked to do a very serious role. My first audition, just two lines, hardly 2 mins, no practice. The moment am done, the two script writers came up with "wow didi, what an acting!' As if this was easy for me to comprehend as I know what pathetic actress I am, the other one said that if I would have continued it for 2 more mins, he would have literally cried. hey, cried here is not in a sarcastic manner.
It was a bubble fame and the bubble burst the next day when I was not given that role.
I tried again, I was out.
I decided to quit, enough of all this.
Then came a third proposal without any audition, I was to be an ex-girlfriend. Seems interesting but it was hardly one page role. I didn't give up. Now in the same script am given a wife's role which is far better than a gf's role. I had my first practice session today. It was fun. :) Took me time to get in rhythm. Hope it works out well.. Good luck to me!

A lot of unusual things happening in my life that cant afford to go unquoted. first and foremost, I lost my wallet. No, actually my wallet got STOLEN and its not the first time but the fourth time and in the same fashion. How much I want to pull my hair for being so careless. Now, at this state I am not eager to get my money back though the cumulative amount is huge and only the robber could tell me the exact value, plus 500 bucks whch I have to pay in order to get my new smart card. :X But I want to meet that robber, how dare he?? He is so clever that he could even dare to make four attempts or maybe more than that and at times went empty handed.
I cant stop thinking about the robbery of my life and ended up being a spy trying to find a relation between the four but to no avail. First, all four happened during my exam time. Second, the fourth incident happened early in the morning between 9 and 10 o clock when hardly anyone comes to rc. Third, the only motive of robbery is money. Fourth, he/she is someone who has once seen me pulling out money from my bag and knows my bag well but truly doesnt know me. Fifth, the robber has a high persistence power as it's been four months since the first robbery.
I want to be a detective now or to go and file an FIR in the police station. Arghhh!
Coming back to life. I hadmy first night-out in college the night before yesterday and am still paying for it. Am either sleeping or find myself walking like a zombie. Wont ever do it again. I fought myself to stay awake just to know how it feels. And truly, it's NOT a good experience. God save me! It was a valentine's day and my idea was not to waste even a single minute sleeping away such a beautiful day. In the evening I went for a movie with friends; Black Friday which is supposed to be a good movie but atleast not a V day movie. Doesnt matter since I was not on a date and had a nice time sleeping in the first half and liking the second half. Then we had a candle light dinner at the Spice Lounge with prices touching the sky and we were fighting for candles with a bigger wick and more light. It was fun. I had a nice time.
The long awaited day finally ends beautifully. :)
