first day at IIT (unofficially)

For all those who are not very serious about this global warming issue and at the same time cant afford an AC in their cars, its time to wake up to reality. Only yesterday I was thinking "life aint that bad" to "life cant be worse".
It was my first day at IITD. The first day of the next 365*2 days.. To say the least, it was terrible. First of all, this heat sucked the hell out of me. And did I forget to mention about the traffic light signal. How much you hate it when i turns red the moment you are ready to cross the road. And it happens over n over again. Irritating!!
comes next, you finally reached that place, park your car and moved on. Then suddenly you realized that you have left your key inside the car. Now what?? The car is locked!! And this time I learn the trick of opening a car using a scale. and I wonder, if it's so easy then why aren't there so many robberies (stereo esp).
While I was there and completing all the formalities I had this tendency of comparing everything to DAIICT. Had lunch at the mess there and I missed our Brijwasi caterers. I had a look at the hostel restrictions. we are not allowed to leave the campus after 11 pm and at DAIICT, the time limit was 1 am. The campus is ten times the size of daiict, and our class rooms are a km away from our hostel. To add to the agony, we are not allowed to keep motor vehicles inside the campus.
Finally, I headed back to home. And I thought 'just last one hour in this scorching heat' BUT......... I took a wrong turn! One small mistake and a lot to pay. You cant find a U-turn till next 5-6 kms on such roads. Keep moving, apply breaks, traffic jam, sweating, fm playing at the back but you could hardly enjoy your fav song, etc etc etc

At home right now. It's heaven!
